Transportation & Appointments
An appointment that is missed is usually not a decision — it is a logistics problem. Someone cannot drive any more, a family member cannot take the time off, a taxi is not appropriate for someone who needs help walking to the door.
Where transportation is available, a caregiver can accompany a client to an appointment and stay with them through it.
This service is proposed in the client brief. It is listed here so families can ask about it, and the honest answer at the moment is: ask us, and we will tell you exactly what we can and cannot provide.
Please note: Transportation is proposed in the client brief and must not be presented as a confirmed service until the owner has confirmed availability, insurance requirements, agency policy and any geographic limits.
